Artisan Restaurant West Hartford: A Culinary Gem in CT

This was our first time at Artisan, and the experience was great. Our server Vinny was fantastic. He gets 5 starts! The food and atmosphere were also great. I would give a full 5 starts, except for parking. It's difficult to find parking. But overall, it was a great experience ! I'd recommend this restaurant.

This is the first time I’ve been here. It’s very classy and intimate if you’re looking to take a date here. I thought the food was very good and it came out very quickly. It wasn’t too loud which was great and they didn’t have any music blasting. Music was on but it was low enough that you could have a conversation. The only complaint I have is that the parking just like much of W. Hartford Center is challenging. But there was a wedding going on at the hotel at the time. So I can understand the challenges.

The chef is French. I am in heaven . We sat on the patio and had one of the best meals I have ever had. The port wine poached pear salad was beyond amazing as was my husband's chicory salad. His rabbit entree was tender and delicious ,my butternut sqash au riz was so good I finished the large portion. Word of warning...if you want dessert...and you will...get the smaller portion. It was very filling...I have a huge happy food baby

I recently coordinated a business dinner at The Artisan and overall it was a wonderful experience. The Catering Sales Manager, Samantha, was incredibly helpful and pleasant throughout all of our communications. The team at the Artisan provided an amazing dinner service, and the quality of the food was equally as amazing. In addition to the dinner, we reserved a meeting room with a breakfast and lunch service to be provided that both our team members and clients were thoroughly impressed with. I would highly recommend working with The Artisan at The Delamar and we will certainly be going back in the future.

Exceptional Vegetarian Tasting at Artisan My friend and I attended the Vegetarian 5-Course Tasting and were blown away by the Chefs creations. Every dish was creative and delicious, and the service was top-notch. Vanessa and her team did an amazing job, and Vincent, our server, was fantastic. We’re already looking forward to the next one—thank you for a wonderful and tasteful event!

My boyfriend surprised me for my birthday and it was so cute and such an intimate dining experience we sat in their heated outdoor dining area. We started off by sharing a lobster roll. I had the jumbo sea scallops that were so delicious! My boyfriend wanted the swordfish but they had just ran out so he had their all natural chicken breast he enjoyed it. The crème brûlée and the German chocolate tart was great. Kats service was very friendly, sweet, she helped add to the wonderful experience of the night! We so greatly appreciated her kind service throughout the night! We would definitely come again and 100% recommend!

We went for brunch with some friends, and it was overall a great spot! I loved the food (brunch menu was just what I was looking for), but the service was just okay (very pleasant, but felt very scattered and we had to ask for several different things a few times throughout our meal, sometimes more than once). Maybe it was just an off day, so I'd love to go back. I'd say based on this one experience, it was a 4.25/4.5. We had the fresh fruit with ricotta, and avocado toast. They were able to add smoked salmon to the toast even though it wasn't on the menu, which we appreciated. The live music was a nice touch! The outdoor seating looked lovely on a nice spring day. Overall I'd definitely recommend this as a nice brunch spot in West Hartford.

Flawlessly serviced a party of 10 people in the dining room. Attentive staff and constantly checked-in (not overbearing) to ensure we had the best experience. Food was top notch and the atmosphere was perfect for an evening dinner in West Hartford. I believe the Artisan is sometimes overlooked if you are not staying at the Delmar, but do yourself a favor and reserve a dinner one evening. You will not regret it. The bar is adjacent and has superb craft cocktails with an amazing bar staff. Highly recommend.
